Brajwasis celebrated Khor Sankari Leela, also known as Boodi Leela or Matuki Leela at Khor Sankari in Barsana. Shri Krishna used to stop Gopies, who would go through Khor Sankari in Barsana every day. Khor Sankari is a place a very narrow place between two small mountains where only one person can go at a time. Here Krishna used to steal butter from Gopies and sometimes break their Matuki. This Leela is called Matuki Leela or Bhoodi Leela. Brajwasis samaj from Nand Gaon and Barsana would meet and sing this Leela every year. A Matuki of Maakhan is brought here and then broken and all the brajwasis compete to eat that holy butter.
